Terms of Service
Last updated: May 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MicroCal ("Service"), operated by MicroCal ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
MicroCal is a calendar management application that allows you to:
- Connect and sync multiple calendar accounts (Microsoft 365, Google Calendar)
- View all your calendar events in a unified interface
- Create booking pages that allow others to schedule meetings with you
- Share selected calendars with team members or external parties via Calendar Groups
- Manage team availability within workspaces
2. Accounts
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Account registration
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password. Notify us immediately at support@microcal.com.au if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
One account per person
Each account is for a single individual. You may not share your account credentials with others. Team collaboration is available through the Workspace feature.
Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or are used fraudulently. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial.
Paid plans
After the trial, continued use of the Service requires an active paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed per workspace:
- Starter: up to 5 workspace members
- Team: up to 20 workspace members
- Business: up to 50 workspace members
The workspace owner is responsible for the subscription. All members of a workspace with an active subscription have full access.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you by email. After repeated failures, your subscription may be suspended and your booking pages deactivated until payment is resolved.
Price changes
We will provide at least 30 days notice before increasing subscription prices. Price changes take effect at the next renewal after the notice period.
4. Calendar Data and Integrations
Your data is yours
You retain full ownership of your calendar data. We do not claim any rights over your calendar events, booking information, or other content you create or sync through the Service.
OAuth permissions
When you connect Microsoft 365 or Google Calendar, you grant MicroCal permission to read and write calendar events on your behalf. We use these permissions solely to provide the Service features. You can revoke these permissions at any time from the Connections page or from your Microsoft/Google account settings.
Data accuracy
The Service syncs your calendar data from external providers. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, delays, or failures in data provided by Microsoft or Google.
Calendar Groups
When you create a Calendar Group and invite others:
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share the calendar data included in the group.
- You are responsible for setting appropriate permissions (Viewer/Editor) for each member.
- Making a group public exposes busy/free availability to anyone with the link. Event titles and details are only shown to authenticated members.
5. Booking Pages
Your responsibility
Your booking pages are publicly accessible via a unique URL. You are responsible for the content of your booking pages including titles, descriptions, and availability settings.
Guest data
When guests book meetings through your booking pages, their name, email, timezone, and notes are shared with you as the host. You are responsible for handling guest data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
No-shows and cancellations
We are not responsible for disputes between hosts and guests regarding bookings, cancellations, or no-shows.
